Desk Updates

I've admired Monika Hibbs home office since I first saw her featured on Glitter Guide. I love the clean white work space. It inspired me to take some of the knickknacks (nice word for clutter) off my desk. 

Floating shelves are aesthetically appealing and still keep the things I love in view. I searched Ikea, Pottery Barn, and Restoration Baby for some simple white shelves to no avail. Brackets were a deal breaker for me. Luckily, Scott whipped up a pair of shelves for me over the weekend. 

I also took this as an opportunity to clear off my pin board and start anew. I hung up my Minted "Sunday Beach" banner I made at Alt Summit along with some inspirational Fresh American pins and Caravan Shoppe print. I kept the birth announcements as seen here. My grandparents framed wedding invitation is hanging to the right.
